David W. Poague, the inventor of Spraymate, has been awarded 2 patents for the Spraymate by the United States Patent and trademark Office.
Patent 5,688,329 is for the invention of the "Spray Shield with Trough".
Patent 5,853,811 is for the method of the invention of the "Spray Shield".
An award was also received as a top exhibitor at the 26th annual National Inventors Expo, held at Walt Disney World's Epcot Center.
The award was given by the Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO), a nonprofit trade group that cosponsored the Expo in cooperation with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
